Welcome to my web page. I wrote the book "When Glass Shatters" with the intention of helping others who are dealing with domestic violence, rape or both. I wrote it as if we are chatting with a cup of coffee. "When Glass Shatters" is an intimate look at thirty years of my life. It's written with honesty, openness and nothing is hidden behind a screen. Domestic violence and rape is usually minimized. I wanted to be true to myself and the reader, so I dug deep into my soul and wrote from my heart. I hope by reading my story, you will find yourself. In doing so, you will find the inner strength to get out alive. If your spouse or intimate partner is beating you, abusing you, degrading you, don't ever think "he won't kill me". This is called denial and it can be deadly. Violence can escalate quickly. If you think you have seen all he/she is capable of, you haven't. Please tell someone you can trust what is going on and get the appropriate help from law enforcement or the many agencies available to assist you. As this web site is built I will continue to add links for agencies that can assist you. I hope you enjoy the pictures that have been posted and that it enriches the characters in the book for you.
